Battlefield Bad Company 2 is currently the talk among gamers, with good reason. Even I feel I must make a mention of this fantastic game. The game play is vastly different, and is more focused on team work rather than who can kill the most enemies. There are lots of great things Battlefield Bad Company 2 has to offer.

Graphics
The graphics in BFBC2 are an excellent selling point. Even with a computer that meets the minimal system requirements can still see great graphics. Those with high end graphics card make it near realistic, with explosions and tracer bullets flying everywhere. Characters are extremely detailed and at times they almost look real. The weapons are very good looking as well. The lighting in the game is by far one of the best I have seen in a game, even on medium settings. All these together, I give the graphics in BFBC2 a 5/5 score.

Physics
The physics system in the game is amazing. Shooting a tank or an RPG doesn’t hit its target in half a second, It actually has to fly at the location you shoot it. There is also gravity affecting every one of the projectiles you can use in game; this includes assault rifles, tanks, UAVs, RPGs, grenade launchers, and even sniper bullets.
Along with projectiles being affected by gravity, almost everything in game can be destroyed, blown up, run over, or moved. This includes buildings and even vehicles themselves. No more worrying about a camper camping in a covered building. Launch an RPG or some kind of explosive at them and blow up their cover and take them out. Of course, with all games, there is sometimes glitches in the physics of the game, like tanks randomly getting stuck in walls, but it is very good and detailed. I give the physics in BFBC2 a 5/5 score.

Sound Effects
The sound effects are extremely well done. If you have a good headset, you will get the best experience of being on a battlefield in BFBC2. Snipers will thunder, gun fire will echo in the distance, and explosions will deafen you. The sounds of footsteps are very realistic and can be used to your advantage if pinned down in a building with enemies rushing in. The sound effects are enough to leave me in awe for realism of the game. BFBC2 gets a 5/5 score for the sound effects.

Game play
The game play of BFBC2 is very good. Just being in game, you are left in awe at the detail of everything. Combining excellent graphics with the physics system that is used, you get a truly draw-dropping experience when you first play.
The campaign has it’s perks and its downsides. The nice thing about the campaign is it is unique. unlike a few other games, BFBC2 actually uses its own maps in the Campaign mode instead of the same as the multiplayer maps. The downside to this is, it is very linear; meaning you can only go one basic way in the campaign. The story line itself is another typical United States Vs Russia, as if we have not had hundreds of stories similar already. You are in a squad with 3 other members as the ‘guy who never talks’ and you pretty much just have to stay within the map and kill everything. Your squad mates give you some help, but are ineffective in some aspects, such as when an RPG is shooting at you and they don’t kill it. Other than that, the campaign is alright, certainly worth playing though.
The main selling part of BFBC2 is the multiplayer. While the campaign is there, the best the game has to offer comes from the multiplayer modes. On the PC version you can play with up to 32 players, 24 players on Xbox and PS3, across a huge map as either the Russians (RU) or the United States (US). These maps are so big and detailed, driving around in a tank or on a bike is required on some maps to get to enemies quickly. The multiplayer also has a strong requirement for teamwork. You can join squads with friends or random players with up to 4 players, or you can go as a lone wolf. You can use this to your advantage and share positions and assault or fend off enemies. There are other benefits to working together such as picking a variety of classes. A medic to revive and heal your squad mates is a big help to the team. An engineer makes your vehicles stay up longer by repairing those RPGs it took to the face. A Recon unit can help track and spot enemies from long distances so as to plan a course of action and help out by sniping from a distance so that the rest of the squad can get close to the target faster. The assault role focuses on weapons and can also resupply your squad with more ammunition. Each role has its own benefit and its best to plan ahead and see what your squad needs the most. There is a lot to the multiplayer that is hard to describe with words, you just have to play it to find out.
The only downside to the game play of BFBC2 is that it is lacking in variety of game modes, which I suspect will change quickly. However, this doesn’t mean in anyway that the game is not fun, it will cause an adrenaline rush when you see tracer bullets and explosions everywhere. Overall, I give the game play of BFBC2 a 4.9/5.

Overall
Overall, BFBC2 is one of the best games I have ever laid eyes on. I have played Call of Duty 4, but the multiplayer on all of them is too dominated by little kids who just charge in, die then immediately respawn and kill you. This game actually requires teamwork not just who can shoot the best. In many other games, hackers can change the outcome of a game, while I do not believe that hackers will be able to cause as much of a ruckus is BFBC2 due to how the game play is. This game will be a great game for weeks and has replaced World of Warcraft in my current game to play. It is a great game, and it seems some people are not playing it thoroughly before coming to a judgment on how good it truly is. Overall, I have to give BFBC2 a 5/5 score, which it rightfully deserves.

If anyone is interested in joining me as I play, Please add Noobiesnack to your friends list. I also have friends from school who have setup their own server as well as teamspeck if anyone is interested. Their website is http://thefactoidvoid.com if you are interested. They play in all kinds of games from Call of Duty to Battlefield to even World of Warcraft.
