Exia Ignition Mode
by Tehspiah on Jan.31, 2010, under Anime, Misc
After 2 days of working on it (since it came on friday), I’m finally finished!
Spray painted the white and blue pieces (not necessary, but I wanted the blue to look lighter), white needs primer next time for better results. Hmm, the blue matches my SAT prep book color. (note to self, gundam marker ink doesn’t adhere on to the paint that well)
One arm and the body done.
Dual swords, but no legs yet.
Full body without weapon
weapons and shield minus the beam sabers.
GN Drive, need to buy 4 button cells to light it up. Wished I could show you right now =(
Once you put in the GN Drive, it’s really hard to take it out.

My brother does Gundam kits as well. He has about 60 or so of the MSIA/Cosmic Region\HCM-pro\Figures then another half dozen kits. Including Double 0 Raiser Designer COlors, Zeta +, Unicorn, a GPO-3A (Staman/dendrobeum), etc.

for the price they charge for the models, the actual size of the finished product really isn’t worth it.

@Aceman67 – what I don’t think you know is that all of the gundam kits these days come with a lot of accessories; weapons, hands, armor, stands, etc. The more expensive ones (like Master or perfect grades) come with electronics, such as the light up GN-Drive in Exia (above) or the two rotating light up GN-Drives in the OO Raiser Perfect Grade. They also have articulation that makes American action figures look like bricks, some kits even having articulating fingers (Perfect Grades more often then not). Some also combine (OO raiser), transform (Zeta +), or are freaking huge (GPO-3A Stamen-Dendrobeum, over 1 meter long completed). Its well worth the money once you realize these things.
@Tehspiah – You need to (if you don’t have one) get a Celestial Being Action Base.

Looking good Tehspiah…..can’t wait to see it with stickers and it’s wpns equipped. Are you gonna do any panel lining? Also, how does it look with the Repair gear equipped?

@rathbad I did do panel lining, my phone camera is just too crappy to show it… 2MP, and I got the gn drive working as well.
